You'll need to find a number of poems over the course of our semester of poetry investigation and celebration. A poem for every day that we have a poetry salon in class (our first will be on Friday, January 26). A poem for your explication essay. A poem for your formal recitation third quarter, and another for a recitation fourth quarter. And hopefully you'll be inspired to find a few poems for no reason in particular, just for the pleasure of reading and discovering new poems. (Remember, you're always welcome to spontaneously share a poem you've discovered on any day class meets.)
